Update to Anthem Medicare ID Format

As you may be aware, Anthem Medicare member ID numbers include a 3-digit prefix, which is also displayed on the member ID card. To maintain consistency and ensure accurate data entry, we have begun incorporating this 3-digit prefix into all Anthem Medicare ID numbers.
